The new building is very nice and is an awesome place to hang out with your friends were to get on the computer they have a very good selection of books movies and lots of video games and it’s all for free staff was very helpful when I was trying to find a book that I wantedThey were also very respectful and is a very quiet place to hang out on the weekends or after you get out of school but it is in the crappy part of downtown
I started going to the library to study. So I was excited to hear that they now had study rooms. I thought it was first come first serve since there wasn't any postings stating otherwise. As I'm in there a staff member comes in to ask if I'd signed in, which I hadn't, due to not knowing that you needed to reserve the rooms. She was very polite and said she would sign me in. As I was leaving I stopped at the desk downstairs to sign up for the following day. I asked a different staff member, where there was a posting that provided information about the rules for the study room, and she said that they had none. So then I asked, so how do they know, and she replied, "you know now". Ok. So far not a good experience. So I asked if I could double book the room since it's in 2 hr increments, and she signed me up. Two days later I spoke to another member about booking the room for 4 hrs and was told that you are only allowed 2 hrs a day in the study rooms. So now there's a time limit? Even if no one else wants the room?? I think I'll stick to the open booths elsewhere. Just an FYI, to minimize confusion and frustration, it might be a good idea to post rules at both entrances to the study room, and maybe relay this information to all staff members. Could've saved me the headache. Other than that, for the most part, the noise is kept to a minimum and the staff members are all polite. They did a wonderful job remodeling.
I love this library. Awesome programs and ambiance. The children's librarians are awesome!
It’s in a ghetto part of downtown this place sucks
Love the new building and the new kids room! Everything is so open. Love it!
