We picked Motel 6 because it's pet friendly. We had a very large room with plenty of space for our family and dog. Our window was right beside parking, our room was right off the lobby and across from vending/ice, but we didn't hear much noise at all. Beds were very comfortable. It's certainly nothing fancy, but it's clean, convenient and comfortable.
Kevin the night desk clerk was wonderful! It's evident some renovations have happened but work is still needed. The GM needs to do a little retraining with the head house keeper and house keepers about checking the little stuff that makes a customer feel you went the extra step. In room coffee would be a wonderful addition. Better quality towels would be a better quality and making the beds in rooms with stay overs would be wonderful. A pool that was working would be nice. Having been in the hotel industry for years I read the reviews on yelp and other websites and decided to give it a try anyway. I was pleasantly surprised but see room for improvement.
Great service and nice clean rooms. Kevin the manager was very plesent. Big plus they are pet friendly. No other place would allow us to bring in my baby bird.
Good stay overall. Front desk was receptive to my needs. Had to call because of an irate couple across the hall. Pros: bed was comfy, water was hot, coffee was delish. Cons: low water pressure, room to echoey, no shampoo to wash my hair, had to sleep with one eye open.
Noise was terrible. Gaps under the doors (both to the hall and adjoining door) let all the noise in.The outside door that everyone used to enter the building slammed shut and was very loud in the middle of the night. The man who checked me in was very nice and helpful. But when I went to check out and let them know that our toilet was backed up and about the door slamming, I couldn't find anyone. I looked everywhere and ended up leaving the key on the front desk. Room was pretty clean except there was some hair on the floor in places. Just needs swept better between customers. Halls and lobby were clean and smelled good.
